Data and purposes
Discord sign-in provides your account identifier and username so the site can identify you and secure your account. Depending on the features used, Orbynia stores character profiles and progress, builds and gear, comments, likes, guild membership, events and registrations. Content you choose to publish is visible to other visitors. Account features require Discord sign-in; additional contributions and information are optional depending on the feature.
The hosting provider may process technical data needed to deliver and secure the site, such as IP addresses and requests. Your browser stores language, theme and some interface preferences locally.
Legal grounds
Account data and the features you use are processed to provide the requested service. Security and abuse prevention rely on the legitimate interest in protecting Orbynia and its users. Processing required by law relies on the applicable legal obligation.
Recipients and third-party services
The publisher and hosting provider access data needed to run the service. Information you choose to publish is visible to visitors or guild members depending on the feature. Sign-in uses Discord. Embedded videos use YouTube (Google); automatic loading may send connection data to YouTube when the page opens. Some player counters use public Steam data. These providers may process data outside the European Union under their own policies.
Cookies and retention
Technical cookies protect Discord sign-in: the temporary state expires after no more than ten minutes and a session may last up to thirty days. Local storage keeps browser settings until deleted. YouTube may set its own cookies or trackers when videos load. Account data and contributions are retained while needed for the features you use or until an applicable deletion request, subject to legal and security requirements. Disconnecting Discord invalidates the session but does not automatically delete previously published content.
Your rights
Where applicable, you have rights to access, correction, deletion, restriction and portability of your data, and may object to processing based on legitimate interest. You may also complain to the French CNIL.
